Explore our range of online training covering various areas including health and safety, sustainability, diversity and inclusion and industry best practice.

All courses are free to ESSA members with the level of access being dependent on the level of ESSA membership. ESSA members can use the coupon code essamember22 to access the courses for free. Access will be dependent on sign up details being linked to an ESSA member company.

Health And Safety Training - Individual Induction

Averaging 10 minutes each, these bite-sized sessions have been designed to serve as a foundational introduction and awareness-builder in these areas, ideally used as refresher training, part of a toolbox talk programme or as a supplement to existing company training. Each course concludes with a brief exercise to confirm understanding and a dated certificate is issued upon successful completion.

Sustainability Training

ESSA is proud to provide sustainability awareness training to all its members. Our online training, created with ESSA Member Green Circle Solutions takes about 60 minutes to complete and takes you on a journey through sustainability in events and how we can all do our part to make the industry more sustainable. 

ESSA also ran 7 in person regional training days throughout 2023 and we are looking to continue this run in to 2024. Check back here for more informaiton in the near future. 

"One" Diversity Training

“One” introduces an approach to resolving the problem of difference in Diversity by using Mindsmith’s thinking and behavioural expertise to show how problems of difference are subjectively created and how it can be overcome. This is not Diversity Training. It is an exercise designed to develop the Cognitive Awareness that facilitates the change in thinking that allows us to resolve the problem of the way we think about difference. We tend to focus on what we think currently. We need to move to the level of why we think, in order to understand the problem and thought that understanding help people adapt their thinking.

How to access ESSA's online training courses:

1. Access the training website by clicking either of training headers above.
   
   
2. Click "Sign in" at the top right corner and choose "Create a new account" at the bottom of the page.
   
   
3. Non-ESSA members will need to make a payment. ESSA member coupon codes are available in the member's area or by contacting info@essa.uk.com.
   
   
4. The ESSA team will verify your account details. Once confirmed, you'll gain access to the courses.
