Awarded the highest level for Sustainability
Since our founding in 1976, GH Display has been at the forefront of designing and manufacturing custom exhibition stands, with a strong focus on refurbishment, reconfiguration, and reuse. Back then, sustainability wasn’t a buzzword—it was all about creating high-quality display stands that maximised cost savings through reuse. Nearly 50 years later, our commitment to these principles remains unwavering. While we still prioritise ROI for our clients, many now seek to achieve their own goals of NET Zero emissions, including reducing their exhibition-related carbon footprints.
This shift towards sustainable exhibition solutions has positioned GH Display as a leader in driving positive change within the industry. Over the decades, we’ve honed our ability to create stands that prioritise reuse, all while embedding sustainability into our core values, processes, and operations.
Our journey toward becoming a top sustainable exhibition stand builder extends beyond the stands themselves. Sustainability is woven into every facet of our business operations. Our waste management practices are designed to minimise waste generation, ensuring that any waste produced is carefully separated and recycled. We’re proud to have 166 solar panels on our workshop roof (soon to be 196), generating enough energy to power our in-house print, production, and project management services—and even feeding excess energy back to the grid.
Sustainability Accreditation Tier 5
Our dedicated Sustainable Working Group continually explores new initiatives, technologies, and materials to enhance our already compelling sustainable event solutions. We are thrilled to announce that our efforts have been recognised by the Event Industry Trade Body, ESSA (Event Supplier and Services Association), which has awarded us the highest level of accreditation—Tier 5—after a thorough evaluation of our operations. Josh Taylor, Health & Safety Manager for ESSA commented “I’m really pleased to say that GH Display has achieved a Tier 5. It’s clear that it is a great company and it’s brilliant to see all the things they have going on”.
John Hodson, Managing Director at GH Display, stated, “We are thrilled that an independent assessment is recognising the positive measures and initiatives we’ve implemented. Mitigating our environmental impact is just as important to us as delivering outstanding service to our customers. At GH Display, we are committed to leading the way in sustainable exhibitions, and we look forward to continuing this journey with our clients and partners.”
