The winners of the 2024 Event Supplier and Services Association (ESSA) Awards were revealed last night, celebrating the remarkable achievements of the industry’s brightest talents.

Now in its seventh year, this year’s ESSA Awards received a record-breaking number of submissions across its 14 categories. These accolades recognise the diversity and excellence that underpin the success of the events sector, honouring individuals and companies who set benchmarks for innovation, outstanding service and dedication.

 A highlight of the evening was the presentation of the prestigious Outstanding Contribution to the Industry accolade, awarded to Steve Barratt, former CEO and founder of Full Circle Events & Exhibitions. Barratt was celebrated for his exceptional leadership and lasting impact on the industry, embodying the spirit of innovation and commitment that defines ESSA’s mission. Known for his unwavering passion, entrepreneurial spirit and ability to challenge the norm, it is also Steve’s well-documented sense of humour and penchant for analogies that sets him apart. His reliability, warmth and transformative contributions to exhibitions over the decades make him a truly deserving recipient of recognition for his remarkable career.
