Important Date for your Diary!

We are very happy to announce that this year’s ESSA Conference, Dinner and Awards will be taking place on 29th November at Arena MK (Milton Keynes).  With BeMatrix UK returning as headline sponsor for the Conference.

Since its last visit to Arena MK in 2014, the ESSA Conference has almost doubled in size and will this year make use of the fantastic Ball Room and pitch side corporate lounges to entertain delegates during the day and evening.

On the back of the success of last year’s 10th Anniversary Ball, we will be encouraging guests once more to stay on to enjoy and evening of entertainment, networking and the chance for companies and individuals to win one of five industry awards.

Last year’s conference attracted upwards of 200 delegates from within ESSA membership and the wider industry. Feedback from attendees was great and has helped steer the direction of this year’s conference. Every year is an opportunity to do something different and an opportunity to listen to attendees to continually move the event forward.

Investing in the evening of the conference following last year’s one off 10th Anniversary Ball was also a huge part of delegate feedback, where it was commented we created a unique environment for our community to come together in such a fun and informal setting.

2018 will see an additional 2 awards handed out, taking the total to 5. 2017 saw the first of their type as Chris Criscione of Equinox Design won the Outstanding Contribution to the Industry Award, Aztec Events won the ESSA Member of the Year Award and Samantha Fenlon of Freeman picked up the ESSA Young Person of the Year gong.

A further communication regarding this year’s awards will be sent out in late July and registration will officially open in September for both the conference and the dinner. We will once more be offering members one free ticket to the day conference and an array of multi ticket packages for both the day and the evening so you can bring your teams to not just the evening event but also the conference. They will as always represent extremely good value for money. This isn’t about generating revenue, it’s about the ESSA community, rewarding people, rewarding our teams, celebrating success and finishing the year off the right way.
