Celebrating its tenth anniversary year, The Event Supplier and Services Association (ESSA) has announced that it will be holding its annual general meeting on April 27, on board the "Jewel of London”, the same vessel that hosted ESSA’s first AGM.

Over the last decade, ESSA has developed its AGM into more than just a statutory function, supplementing the day with industry insight and opportunities for education and networking. After the formal business of reports from the chair, treasurer and director of the association there will be a special guest address from Nick de Bois, current Chairman of the UK Government's Events Industry Board. Attendees will then be treated to a food and drinks reception, whilst taking in the unique views of London from their vantage point on the river.

Andrew Harrison, ESSA director commented, “Returning to ‘The Jewel of London’, after 10 years of navigating the events industry on behalf of our members, seemed doubly appropriate. I wanted to underline just how far we have come in the last decade, and I have no doubt there will be many people attending this year who were also there at the first AGM, and I hope they’ll be able to share their memories and reminiscences too.”
