The Event Supplier and Services Association (ESSA) is preparing to unveil a year of special events and activities to mark the association’s tenth anniversary in 2017. Founded in 2007 with the merger of the Association of Exhibition Contractors (AEC) and British Event Contractors Association (BECA), ESSA has faced a decade of challenges from within and outside the industry on behalf of its members, whilst building an enviable portfolio of member benefits and services, from legal and H&S helplines to e-learning resources and discounted rates on insurance.
ESSA has also supported its members with their business growth and customer relationships, whilst working towards establishing a cooperative culture amongst all industry stakeholder groups.
Reflecting on the association’s first decade, ESSA director Andrew Harrison said, “It’s been a busy ten years, building a parity of voice for our members and securing representation for our members at legislative and regulatory levels. Our tenth anniversary is the perfect opportunity to celebrate our achievements and look back at our progress, and we’re planning a series of anniversary events and activities for our members to do just that.”
ESSA will be releasing details of all its anniversary celebrations and events in due course and as the details are finalised, through the ESSA website at http://www.essa.uk.com.
