Mark Eddy
Mark Eddy is a founding partner at The Pragmatiko Partnership, specialising in simplifying complex challenges, unifying teams, and driving results. A respected figure in the exhibitions industry, he has deep expertise in commercial strategy, operational efficiency, and leadership.
With extensive experience leading internationally based, diverse teams, Mark fosters collaboration across cultures to drive growth and innovation. Previously Chief Commercial Officer at GES, he united global teams and delivered significant revenue growth.
His industry knowledge, leadership, and ability to align international teams make him a valued partner for businesses seeking strategic and commercial success.
Christine Martin
Christine has 20+ years of board-level leadership, including MD roles in UK publishing and events businesses. She excels in fast-moving industries, leading high-performing teams through market volatility and driving transformational growth. As a successful entrepreneur in her own right, she also understands the grit and grind of startup life, offering empathy and hard-won strategic insights to her founder clients. Immediately before launching Pragmatiko, she was Executive Director of Marketing & Customer Experience at GES EMEA, where she partnered with Mark to modernise the GTM strategy, optimise sales and marketing, and drive scalable revenue growth across multiple products, customer groups, and territories.
Tristan Norman
Tristan Norman serves as the Group Director at Nineteen Group, overseeing the Nineteen’s Largest portfolio - Safety & Security Portfolio and Nineteen Group APAC. With a career approaching two decade in the events industry, Tristan has been instrumental in organising some of the UK’s largest B2B events.
Throughout his career Tristan has experienced the full spectrum of business’s from UBM PLC & Haymarket to Event Production Agencies, even singlehandedly launching his own trade show which was then acquired as one of foundations acquisitions to form Nineteen Group in 2018.
More recently under Tristan's leadership, Nineteen Group announced the launch of Nineteen Group APAC and Safety & Security Asia in Singapore and have been active in the M&A market in the region completing 2 acquisitions that now sit within Nineteen APAC.
This expansion underscores the company's appetite for rapid growth globally and its optimism in the sector.
Beyond event organising, Tristan has been instrumental in forming strategic partnerships to elevate industry standards. In 2024, he played a key role in collaborations with organizations such as the Fire Industry Association (FIA) and the British Security Industry Association (BSIA), aiming to drive innovation and professional development across the UK in line with UK Government initiatives. He is also a big advocate of apprenticeships and bridging the skills gaps both within the events sector and the vertical industries his shows operate in.
